Biography
DAVIDE ROMEO MERAVIGLIA (Legnano, 1986) is an author and director. After graduating in Communication Design at Politecnico di Milano (Italy), he studied cinema at Musashino Art University of Tokyo (Japan). Back in Italy, he completed his training at IED-Officine with some remarkable masters of contemporary italian cinema, including Silvio Soldini, Pierfrancesco Favino, Lionello Cerri, Nicola Giuliano, Angelo Barbagallo, Luigi Lonigro.
His works have been distributed in several countries of the world from TV to film festivals receiving several awards. One of them is the "New Talent" award received at the Grand Prix Advertising Strategies during the ceremony set at the National Theater of Milan. Among the winners of that edition there were film and show personalities such as Antonio Albanese and Christian De Sica. His short film "Little Steps" supported by Lancia, famous car manufacturer, received the Public Choice Award and has been selected as Best Live Action to the London Lift-Off Sessions. In 2018 directed the docu-fiction film "Elisiri" for worldwide famous brand Campari.

Collaborations
As director of commercials, he works under the pseudonym "Shinobi", the japanese warrior often referred to as "ninja". This nickname is due to the will of creating strong and impactful content as well as being precise and efficient in the process, like a ninja.
Throughout his career he directed commercials for some major brands such as Coca-Cola, Samsung, Autogrill, Spontex, Pimkie working with various productions, including Filmmaster and prestigious advertising agencies such as Young & Rubicam, M & C Saatchi, SG company. Among these collaborations, the one with Double deserves particular importance. Double is a dynamic and innovative video agency in Milan (Italy) and during this partnership Davide has created branded content for companies such as Corona, BMW and Poste Italiane as director.
